Now do this:

• Place your finger on your Birth Sign (Sun Sign) in the Lower Circle, and say "One".

• Count around the circle in an anticlockwise direction, moving your finger to each Zodiac sign as you count. When you reach Libra, move to the right and continue counting in an anticlockwise direction in the Upper Circle. Carry on counting around the UPPER CIRCLE ONLY until you have reached your current age. (If you don't get past Libra, then what are you doing playing around with this transcendent stuff at such a tender age?)

• You might like to consider the Zodiac sign that you have reached as in some way symbolising the spiritual potential in your current year. We will call this your Guiding Sign.

• Now perform a "Theosophical addition" by adding together the two digits for your current age (e.g., if you are 47, the total is 11). We will call this number the Theosophical Root.

• To your Theosophical Root, make the following mystical correction.

If you are in your teens, fifties or nineties, subtract 3.

If you are in your twenties or sixties, add 6.

If you are in your thirties or seventies, add 3.

If you are in your forties or eighties, no correction.

• Now replace your finger on the sign you found by counting out your age (your Guiding Sign). Start to count again, (your Guiding Sign gets a count of "One"). This time, however, you should move CLOCKWISE around the UPPER CIRCLE ONLY. Continue counting around the Upper Circle until you reach the number you obtained after performing the mystical correction.
