If you play dice
games, you will know that if you throw two dice,
the most likely score is SEVEN. This is because
there are more ways of scoring seven than any
other score (six ways).
In comparison, a score of
SIX is less likely because there are only five
ways of scoring a six. Similarly there are only
five ways of scoring an EIGHT.
This being the case, if you
continue to throw two dice, you are much more
likely to get two scores of seven before you
score a six and an eight.
I want us to use our
combined psychokinetic powers so that, against
the odds, you will score a six and an eight
before two sevens appear. The experiment is not
guaranteed to work, but with your cooperation I
hope we shall be successful.
Do as follows:
Obtain two
ordinary dice. In order to 'tune in' your
latent psychokinetic abilities, place the
dice in a cup or tumbler and shake them
while repeating silently to yourself
"six or eight, six or eight
...". When you feel the time is
right, roll the dice.
I believe that you will
find you have scored a SIX and an EIGHT!
If the experiment fails,
your psychokinetic powers may be quite weak. In
this case you should repeat the experiment
several times (perhaps 10 or 20). Record each
time whether you scored a six and eight or two
sevens. You should find that, even if you have
only weak psychokinetic power, you will score six
and eight more times than you score two sevens -
against the odds.
